Everlight Art Reveal #1
Checking in before a brief hiatus from all things writing next month, when I’ll be in Japan with my longtime bff. Chapters for The Everlight Protocol will still drop as planned, though. Today, I bring you chibi art commissioned for The Everlight Protocol! Isn’t it adorable?!?
From line art to full color, Mila (@meawqing) drew such a stunning scene from the story. Sometimes it’s nerve-wracking working with an artist because you’re not quite sure if what you envisioned will align with their interpretation. But the final product was far more gorgeous than I could have imagined, and I love that she captured the essence of Hael and Oryn’s friendship in a single shot. 😍😭
Also: shout out to my friend Avhlee (@teacupsandtornpages), who also had art done by Mila and totally convinced me (by accident) to commission art by her. Zero regrets. Only joy.
I will have more artwork to share in the near future, especially next year (when volume 1 of The Everlight Protocol is slated to be finished), including art by the amazing Zdenek Cehelsky.
